I'm a composer for media...

...but I pride myself in understanding the nuances of narrative and film. I try to speak the language of storytelling — not musical jargon.

I've composed scores for a variety of short films & live theatre; conducted live orchestras in concert; and placed first and second, respectively, in composition contests organized by the Alberta Piano Teachers Association and the Canadian Federation of Music Teachers Association.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts with a minor in music from Mount Allison University, and I professionally moonlight as a pilot, flight instructor, and tall person.
